LEWISTON — Les Troubadours will perform for this month’s La Rencontre on Thursday, April 13, at the Dolard & Priscilla Gendron Franco Center, 46 Cedar St.
La Rencontre is open to the public, and starts at 11:25 a.m. The cost of the meal and the program is $10 per person. The doors and the bar open at 10 a.m. Guests may contact the center office for reservations at 783-1585. E-mail reservations may be sent to boxoffice@francocenter.org.
All are welcome to attend the monthly meal and event, space permitting. The meal is spaghetti and meatballs, tossed salad, garlic bread and cheesecake with strawberries.
After lunch, Dr. Anne Brown from St. Mary’s Integrative Medicine practice will present the next Healthy Gathering Series topic on alternative pain management options. It is titled Treating Pain without Medicine.”
Brown will review the most common complimentary therapies use for pain with an emphasis on arthritis. The series is presented periodically in partnership with St. Mary’s and Central Maine Medical Center.
The day will conclude the show by Les Troubadours.
