Returning athletes: Boys: Seniors — Xavier Romanoski (distance), Machaon Henderson (racewalk). Girls: Seniors — Avery Taylor (jumps), Risa Marble (discus/sprints/relays), Kate Marble (shot put).
Season outlook: The Roadrunners’ strength is in their numbers. Danala said the seniors love the sport and work hard, and that example will trickle down through the rest of the team. The athletes are sharpening their techniques with the goal being to improve over the previous year’s results and qualify for the MVC meet and beyond.
