LEWISTON — Announcement is made of the engagement of Brianna Marie Payne and Tyler Alexander Roy, both of Ellsworth.
Miss Payne is the daughter of Dwight S. Payne and Ann Marie D. Payne of Lewiston. Mr. Roy is the son of Robert R. Roy of Greene and the late Denise M. Dube.
Miss Payne is a 2012 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2016 cum laude graduate of the University of Maine, where she obtained a degree in psychology. She works at the Children’s Center as a preschool teacher.
Mr. Roy is a 2010 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2015 graduate of the University of Maine where he graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and psychology, as well as the University of Maine Honors College. He works at the Jackson Laboratory as a research assistant.
The couple is planning an Aug. 12 wedding in Edgecomb.
