DEAR SUN SPOTS: Do you know where I can pre-order Sun Gold cherry tomato seedlings? The woman in East Wilton who used to sell them no longer sells seedlings. Although she did refer her previous customers to another grower, I would like to have more options. Thank you. — Deb, no town.

ANSWER: The following locations are open and offer Sun Gold cherry tomatoes:

* Whitehill Farm, 357 McCrillis Corner Road in East Wilton. Phone 207-778-2685 or email mike@whitehillfarm.com.

* Robin’s Flower Pot, 387 Webster Road in Farmington. Phone 207-778-5937 or email robinsflowerpot@gmail.com.

* One Drop Farm, 300 Beckwith Road in Cornville. Phone 207-858-3033 or email farmers@onedropfarm.com.

Another great place to meet up with local growers and inquire about seedlings would be at your local farmers’ market. The Farmington Farmers’ Market takes place on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Farmington Grange on Bridge Street in West Farmington through April. Starting in May, the market is on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon in the district courthouse parking lot, 129 Main St. in Farmington.
