FARMINGTON — Cliff and Uggo the Cat are the Pets of the Week at the Franklin County Animal Shelter.
Cliff, a 2-year-old, DNA-tested American Stafforshire/Bulldog mix, is the Dog of the Week. He is a high energy, handsome dog who loves long walks, chasing after balls and playing. He is bouncy, so he will do best in a home without small children or cats, but he loves people. Cliff is a one-dog-home kind of guy, and he is looking for a home where he will be the only animal.
Uggo the Cat, the Cat of the Week, is a senior male who is a sweet and snuggly gentleman. His new family will need to be willing to administer special medication for his eyes.
Cliff, Uggo and other pets may be visited at the shelter from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesdays to Saturdays at 550 Industry Road. Cats and dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption and have been vaccinated for rabies, treated for fleas, microchipped and have had nail trims. The shelter also rehomes barn cats, livestock and other pets.
