Alex Baldwin’s recent impersonations of Donald Trump have invited a floodgate of opportunity for entertainers and comparisons.
If you think about it, isn’t Bernie Sanders and his extreme socialism kind of like Obama on steroids without the smooth presentation?
Conversely, isn’t Trump’s approach to the economy a crude version of Ronald Reagan?
His basic common sense economics have bolstered consumer confidence to highs not seen in over 15 years and the stock market has surged since his election. However, wouldn’t the advertising slogan “Sometimes you need a little finesse, sometimes you need a lot” apply to his whole approach?
I just want a happy medium of less government bureaucracy, common sense economics, and a level-headed approach to international affairs.
Is that really asking too much from a president?
