CANTON — The town’s Recreation Department will throw a Spring Fling from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 29,at the ball field.
The event is free and features a dog show. Registration begins at 11 a.m.; the show at 12:30 p.m.
Dog show categories include:
• Best costume
• Best trick
• Owner/pooch look-alike
Prizes will be awarded in each category.
There will be kickball, three-legged races and bean bag toss. Children will be able to make sand art or play with bubble wands.
The snack shack will food and beverages.
