LEWISTON — Mary Lou Hofmann of Auburn, administrative assistant for, Healthy Androscoggin, chose to support the work of the organization she cares about during her birthday.
In lieu presents, Hofmann requested donations to Healthy Androscoggin and raised more than $600.
“I believe we get to the point in our lives that we don’t really need any more ‘things.’ Rather it is rewarding to be able to give a gift of gratitude to those organizations or causes you believe make the world or your community a better place to live,” Hofmann said.
