Logan McConaughey of Auburn presents the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society on April 12 in Lewiston with the donations from his 14th birthday. Logan, an eighth-grade student at the Auburn Middle School, asked for donations for the pets in lieu of birthday gifts. Party guests generously donated pet food, hay, blankets, towels and pet supplies to help with the care of the thousands of unwanted animals the Humane Society helps each year.
