FRYEBURG — St. Dominic Academy fought through intermittent rain and fought off Fryeburg Academy on Wednesday, posting an 18-4 win over the Raiders in a Western Maine Conference girls’ lacrosse match.
Caroline Gastonguay netted seven goals to lead the Saints’ offensive attack. Kristina Cornelio added four, while Avery Lutrzykowski and Mia-Angelina Leslie added two each.
Abby Slonina stopped four shots to earn the victory between the pipes.
