FARMINGTON — A Wilton man was charged with two counts of aggravated assault after two men were stabbed with a pocket knife during a fight Friday night in Farmington.
Ryan Brann, 38, is being held at Franklin County Detention Center on $10,000 bail, as set by the bail commissioner, Farmington police Sgt. Eddie Hastings, said. He is expected to be arraigned in Franklin County Superior court on Monday where further charges may be added.
A father and son, Roy and Seth Gordon, of Farmington received several lacerations during the 11:40 p.m. fight that took place at Ron’s Market in Farmington, he said.
Roy Gordon, 46, received minor injuries. Seth Gordon, 27, was taken to Franklin Memorial Hospital by a NorthStar ambulance. He was treated for lacerations and later released, Hastings said.
The incident is under investigation. Hastings would not say why the fight started.
Police responded and broke up the altercation between the three men, he said.
The market is on the corner of High Street and Franklin Avenue, just down the street from the police department.
