WILTON — A Rumford man received minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident at McCrillis Corner Road and Route 133 on Monday morning, police said.
Eric Holman, 24, was taken by NorthStar ambulance to Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington where he was treated and later released, Wilton police officer Ethan Kyes said.
Holman was a passenger in a car driven by Monica Cochran, 26, of Rumford, who apparently failed to see the stop sign at the intersection, Kyes said.
Her 2000 Subaru Outback struck a 2005 Mazda CX-5 driven by Mavis Dubord, 55, of Jay, who was headed north on Route 133, he said. The impact spun Dubord’s vehicle 360 degrees, he said.
Neither driver was injured but both vehicles were totaled. The accident was reported at 6:42 a.m.
Members of Wilton Fire Department assisted Kyes at the scene.
This is the fourth accident Kyes has covered this year at this intersection, he said.
