LEWISTON — Christopher D. Harkins, 35, of Auburn passed away unexpectedly on April 25, with his family by his side.

Chris was born April 14, 1982, in Lewiston and attended Auburn schools. Chris was a kind, loving person. He loved spending time with his family and friends, being outdoors, riding dirt bikes, working on small motors, and his dog, Guiness.

Chris enjoyed working with concrete and doing masonry. Chris was able to save many lives through his gift of organ donation.

Chris is survived by his loving mom and dad, Lynne and Paul Champagne; his father, Andrew Harkins; his fiancee, Kristie Rumery and their children, Noah and Zoie Harkins; his brother, Jamie Harkins and his daughter, Savannah; his sister, Chelsey Bolduc and her husband, Jody; his grandpa, Bert Nelson; and memere, Claudette Champagne. Chis is also survived by his nephews, Cayden and Calvin; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Chris was predeceased by his sister, Kara Law-Champagne; his grandmother, Donna Nelson; grandmother, Barbara Harkins; grandfather, James Nassar; pepere, Orean Champagne; grandpa, Cy Simmons; uncle, Mark Champagne; and aunt, Kathy Theberge.
