FARMINGTON — Katie and Camilla are the Franklin County Animal Shelter’s Pets of the Week.
Katie is a 2 to 3-year-old, DNA tested, American Staffordshire Terrier. She is sweet, smart, and highly energetic. Katie is also quite sociable, and would prefer to be the only dog in the home. She has been housed in the shelter for a very long time.
Camilla-the-cat is of senior age. She is a very laid-back, relaxed sweetheart in need of a final home.
Camilla, Katie, and other pets may be visited at the shelter from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays, at 550 Industry Rd. Cats and dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption and have been vaccinated for rabies, treated for fleas, micro-chipped, and have had nail trims. The shelter also re-homes barn cats, livestock and other pets.
