WILTON —  Police are investigating a burglary where old coins, jewelry and personal prescription medication was taken Wednesday morning.

Someone forced their way in to the residence attached to Patty’s Place at 222 Route 2 West some time between morning and noon Wednesday, Wilton Police Chief Heidi Wilcox said.

Old coins including silver dollars and half dollars along with some regular coins, a boxed set of silver flatware and a display case of rings were taken from the store.

No one was home at the time.  Some prescription medications were also taken from the home, she said.

Police are asking anyone who noticed a vehicle parked at the site Wednesday morning or who has any information to please call the department at 645-3876.
