How do we go about getting a great health care bill? Insist on a ruling that all U.S. senators and members of the House of Representatives have to be covered under the exact same plan as they put in place for the entire country.
That is how it should be — no special privileges for them.
Not one of them is willing to accept the proposed plan for themselves and their families as it is currently written.
The same rule should apply for Medicare, Plan D prescription coverage, and Social Security coverage. That way, Speaker of the House Paul Ryan would stop taking millions of dollars out of the Social Security Fund for red herring spending.
