LEWISTON — Police Thursday night were searching for a 79-year-old woman who was last seen walking away from her Ash Street home.

Police were asking for help from the public in locating Maxine Baston, who is said to suffer from Alzheimer’s disease and other medical issues.

She was last seen at about 6:40 p.m., according to a Lewiston police news release. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lewiston Police Department at 207-784-6421 or to call 911.
