LIBERTY — Liberty Graphics T-shirts has announced the winner of the 20th annual art contest titled “Art and our Natural Environment.”
This $1,000 scholarship art contest is open to all Maine high school seniors. Jordan Lister of Lebanon, Maine was the winner this year, with a dynamic impressionist-style gouache painting of seaside rocks and salt spray.
Lister grew up in Maine, has been painting as long as she can remember, with support from family and a solid High School art program. She plans to attend School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Liberty Graphics hopes this $1,000 check will help support her continuing artistic endeavors.
