The Mechanic Falls, Minot and Poland Tri-Town Optimist Club announced its RSU 16 Student of the Month recipient, Kayla Olson, from Adult Education. Kayla’s teacher describes her as a model of optimism, always cheerful, looking at the sunny side of everything, giving much time to self-improvement and ‘just as enthusiastic about the success of others” as she is about her own. From left are Teacher Sue Lasselle, Kayla Olson, and Club President Jeff Gagnon.
