Local students graduate from Clarkson University

POTSDAM, N.Y. — The following local students graduated from Clarkson University on May 13: Jared Curtis, Naples, Bachelor of Science in aeronautical engineering and mechanical engineering; Dalton Lorenz, Raymond, Bachelor of Science with great distinction in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering; and Christina Pollard, Raymond, Bachelor of Science with distinction in electrical engineering, with a minor in mathematics.

David Cosgrove graduates from Grove City College

GROVE CITY, Pa. — David Cosgrove, Casco, is one of 606 seniors to earn their degree from Grove City College on May 20. Cosgrove earned a Bachelor of Music degree in music/business.

Student named to Hamilton College dean’s list

CLINTON, N.Y. — Adelaide J. Fuller, daughter of Donald and Kimberly Fuller of Peru, has been named to the dean’s list at Hamilton College for the spring semester. To be named to the dean’s list, a student must have carried throughout the semester a course load of four or more graded credits with an average of 3.5 or above.

Hometown resident awarded degree at Salve Regina University

NEWPORT, R.I. — Mariah Mosher, Auburn, was awarded a Master of Arts degree in applied behavior analysis during Salve Regina University’s 67th commencement on May 21.

Student named to UMass Dartmouth dean’s list

NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. — Haley Bickford, Chesterville, has been named to the spring University of Massachusetts Dartmouth dean’s list in recognition of earning a semester grade point average of 3.2 or higher of a possible 4.0.

BURLINGTON, Vt. — The following local students have been named to the University of Vermont dean’s list: Emily Listowich of Kingfield and Nicole Pires of Farmington.

To be named to the dean’s list, students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.

Rowe of Livermore Falls graduates

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. — Alicia Rowe, Livermore Falls, graduated from the University of Hartford on May 21. Rowe, a painting major, received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University’s Hartford Art School.

BRUNSWICK — During Bowdoin College’s 212th commencement ceremony on May 27, Bachelor of Arts degrees were awarded to area Class of 2017 students.
