The 18 voices of the Maine Music Society Chamber Singers will perform at 12:15 p.m., Wednesday, July 19,  at the Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul, 122 Ash St., Lewiston. The Chamber Singers are all members of the MMS Chorale who delight in singing a cappella – without accompaniment. Formed four years ago, The Chamber Singer’s musical repertoire includes a delightful mix of genres, including renaissance pieces, madrigals, spirituals, and ballads as well as modern songs by composers such as George Gershwin, the Beatles and Billy Joel. Donations to restore the Casavant organ are gratefully accepted.
