Milford’s Dr. Lewis S. Libby School held its 8th grade promotion ceremony on Monday, June 12 in the school’s gymnasium.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by John Reinzo.
Subject area excellence awards went to Madyson Redding in Social Studies, Science, ELA/Reading, Math, and Physical Education; Amy Rockwell in Art; and Karina Hannon in Music.
Meghan Small and Hunter Barnes were presented the Thomas N. Graves Award given to students who exhibit qualities of leadership, citizenship, and academic excellence in memory of former principal Thomas N. graves.
The citizenship award and presidential award were both awarded to Madyson Redding.
Certificates were presented to Tiffany Anthony, Hunter Barner, Payton Cody, Jordan Cota, Alena Girard, Raegan Glidden, Will Grange, Karina Hannon, Anthony Harrington, Seth Haverlock, Nicholad Jackson, Alyssa Labelle, Brandon LeFrancois, Isabella Pare, Stevie Paschal, Giovani Pinto, Sophie Poirier, Matthew Preble, Madyson Redding, John Reinzo, Amy Rockwell, Michael Sanborn, Zachery Scripture, Meghan Small, Mia Smith, Devin Soule, Noel Stormann, and Cody Willette.
Final thoughts were given by 8th grade teacher Warren Kidder.
