Central Maine Credit Union presented a check for $2,000 to New Beginnings of Lewiston recently. For the donation were, from left, Rachel Spencer-Reed, program development director at New Beginnings, and Chris Bicknell, executive director of New Beginnings, who accepted a check from Vicki Stuart, president/CEO of Central Maine Credit Union. New Beginnings has grown from a program providing basic shelter care in 1980 to an agency with a variety of community-based services meeting the needs of youth in crisis and their families.
