AUBURN — Diane M. Chicoine, 61, a resident of Fayette, passed away Saturday, June 24, at Hospice House of Androscoggin in Auburn, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Jan. 14, 1956, in Augusta, the daughter of Donald Gagne and Barbara (Noel) Gagne. She attended school in Augusta and was a graduate of Cony High School. On Nov. 6, 1971, Diane married her husband of 43 years, Larry Chicoine. He passed away April 28, 2015.

Diane had worked in the local shoe shops, and later became a certified nursing aide, having worked at d’Youville Pavilion in Lewiston and Heritage Manor in Winthrop. Diane enjoyed going boating and traveling to Florida.

She is survived by her three sons, Jason Chicoine and his wife, Christine, of Fayette, Andy Chicoine and his wife, Theresa, of Livermore Falls, and Toby Chicoine of Fayette; five grandchildren, Dillan, Tyler, Cade, Ashley and Alexis Chicoine; sisters, Darlene Robinson of Auburn, Loretta Norris of Sabattus, Penny Conley and her husband, Claude Richards, of Augusta, Elaine Levesque and her husband, Allen, of Waterville, and Norma Drake of Livermore Falls; her father-in-law, Norm Chicoine and his wife, Gloria, of Livermore; her in-laws, Lisa Holt and her husband, Mark, and their daughter, Mikala, of Livermore, and Steve Chicoine of Chelsea; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Darlene Cote; and brothers, Donald Gagne Jr. and Michael Gagne.
