VIENNA — Six years ago, Renee Tatum made her Metropolitan Opera debut. Since then she has performed on the most prestigious stages throughout the United States and continues to perform regularly with the Metropolitan Opera. Opera News has praised her for her “commanding and dramatic presence.”
The Vienna Union Hall, which seats only 120, will provide an intimate setting to showcase Renee’s wonderful voice. She will be singing a wide variety of songs from classical to cabaret with works from Weill, Wagner, Debussy, Faure, and Chausson. Renee is thrilled to come to Maine and there will be a meet and greet immediately following the concert.
The concert will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 22.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
