Susan Lasselle, an Regional School Unit 16 Adult Education teacher, received an Outstanding Teacher award on June 22 at the annual Maine Adult Education Association Conference at the University of Southern Maine. Lasselle has taught in the Adult Education program since 2002. Having been a teacher in both regular and special education since 1984, she brings extensive knowledge and experience to the needs and learning styles of her students. Her philosophy has always been that every student can learn if they feel safe and accepted in the classroom.
