A car driven by Joshua Bugbe of West Paris and a truck driven by John Butler of Bridgton collided at Route 26 and Skeetfield Road in Oxford on Thursday afternoon. Bugbe had leg bruises; Butler was not hurt, Oxford police Sgt. Alan Coffin said.

OXFORD — A West Paris man was injured when his car and a truck collided on Route 26 on Thursday afternoon, Oxford police Sgt. Alan Coffin said.

Joshua Bugbe, 36, had leg bruises but did not to go a hospital, Coffin said.

Bugbe was driving south on Route 26 about 2:35 p.m. when a pickup truck driven by John Butler, 60, of Bridgton, entered the highway from Skeetfield Road and struck the sedan, the officer said. Butler was not hurt.

Both drivers were alone, and their Dodges were towed from the scene.

Oxford Fire and Rescue Department responded to the accident, which was investigated by Officer Zane Loper, Coffin said.
