LOVELL — Bruce A. Buxton of Portland will appraise fine art and antiques for the Lovell Historical Society from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 16, at the Kimball-Stanford House, Route 5, during the society’s summer fair.

Buxton, whose name may be familiar to those who watch “Antiques Roadshow,” has a wide base of knowledge through his education and experience. He maintains an extensive in-house library containing references, catalogues, histories and periodicals.

Appraisal fees, which will be donated to the Lovell Historical Society, will be $8 for one item, $15 for two items, and $20 for three.

The society’s summer fair will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and dealers will be on site all day. There will be a live auction conducted by Frank Eastman at 11 a.m., and music by Alternate Ending will begin playing at noon.
