BURBANK, Calif. — Thomas Brenton Ellingwood 85, of Burbank, Calif., passed away on Saturday, July 8, after a long illness. He was the son of John and Grace Ellingwood of Buckfield. He was a retired make-up artist who had worked in film, television and commercials and is survived by his wife of 55 years, Anne; sons, John and Brenton (Nora); daughter, Elizabeth (Francis) Surroca; and grandchildren, Jacklyn, Emily, Brandon, Jasmin, McKenzie, Trevor and Tyler; and sisters, Barbara Kress and Bonnie Hanely. He was predeceased by his brother, Dick Macomber.
