LEWISTON — Pak Y. Chan, 60, a resident of Poliquin Avenue in Auburn, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 12, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

He was born in China, Nov. 25, 1956, the son of Tian Chuag and Hui Juan (Zhang) Chan.

He came to America as a young man and worked as a chef in Waterville, and moved to Auburn and opened his own business, the Lucky Star in Auburn, and later opened Wing Sing in Lewiston.

Pak enjoyed fishing, the New England Patriots, and loved his family.

Survivors include his mother,Hui Juan Chen of Augusta; his wife, the former Cui Y. Chen of Auburn; two sons, Matthew and Eric Chan; three daughters, Kate, Lauren and Snow; one brother, Wilson Chen; and two sisters, Nancy and Nikki Chen. Also surviving are two grandchildren.
