WEST BATH (AP) — Police in Maine are searching for a motorist they say injured a 58-year-old bicyclist in a hit-and-run crash.

WMTW-TV reports a motorist struck a bicyclist from behind around 3:20 p.m. Thursday in West Bath. Sagadahoc County sheriff’s deputies say the driver then left the scene of the crash.

The bicyclist was treated for injuries that are non life-threatening.

Police say the vehicle involved may have been a silver or gray SUV with damage on the passenger side.
