First Auburn Seniors to meet
AUBURN — First Auburn Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 19, for a regular meeting and chicken barbecue lunch; a ticket will be required for the lunch.
Those attending should bring a coffee cup and utencils.
There were 46 members present at the last meeting. Attendence winners were Doris Bourgoin and Sara Therrioult; Pot of Gold, Dolores Danforth, Virgina Trafford and Lucille Dick; and, 50-50, Nancy Hutchinson, Cindy Larrabee and Cecilia Umbro.
Auburn summer farmers market
AUBURN — The City of Auburn has announced the Auburn Farmers’ Market series for the summer of 2017. The Market will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays through Oct. 3, in the Happy Days parking lot, 67 Mill St.

Sabattus Seniors to meet
SABATTUS — The Sabattus Seniors will meet Thursday, Aug. 3, at Maxwell-Gill Hall for chicken pot pie.
The seniors will vote on new by-laws.
Reservations are required by Thursday, July 27, by contacting 207-375-4037.
At this meeting we will vote on the acceptance of the new by-laws.

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Bridge Club winners on July 3 were, first, Dick Allen and Richard Balian; second, Nancy Farmer and Luke Merry; third, Mike Quinn and Mike True; fourth, Les Buzzell and Paul Sherman; and first/second tie in B, Cynthia and Bill Clifford with Paula Hubbard and David Offer.
Winners on July 10 were, first, Rosemarie Goodwin and Paula Hubbard; second, Dick Allen and Richard Balian; third, Nancy Farmer and Luke Merry; fourth, Marta Clements and Hazel Glazier; fifth, Les Buzzell and David Offer; first in B and C, Cynthia and Bill Clifford; second in B, Norma and Rick Verrill; and second in C, Ellie and George Wigton.
Winners on July 11 were, first, Luke Merry and Mike Quinn; second/third tie, Rosemarie Goodwin and Paula Hubbard with Richard Balian and Bill Clifford; fourth, Les Buzzell and Tom Goodwin; first in B, Richard Balian and Bill Clifford; and, second, Marta Clements and Dick Allen.
Games are played at 9 a.m. Mondays and Tuesdays in the Seniors’ Room at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave. A partner is always guaranteed and all bridge players are welcomed.
