I read every day about how bad Donald Trump is as president. I do not agree with all his policies or even like some of the comments he has made, but he was voted into office on the idea of change. The votes attest to the feelings of the American people, who were tired of the political stonewalling, arguing and that elected officials were working their own party agenda.

The American people are tired of paying outrageous prices for health care — high insurance costs and high deductibles. With all the talk about people who are insured under the ACA and who would likely lose insurance if repeal happens, people should also think about who is paying for this. And if we are all paying anyway, why not have universal health care?

The American people wanted change — lower taxes, increased incomes, job creation and changes to the ACA. Elected officials are not listening. There needs to be a plan that will work for the whole country. Someone must stand up and say enough. If that is Donald Trump, then so be it.

As I have seen said/written often, all politicians should be providing the same health care plans to the people as they have at the same cost. And, going forward, they should be thinking about gaining jobs, lowering taxes and making things better for the American people — no matter the political party.
