OXFORD — Sharon E. Seamon, 70, of Oxford passed away Friday, July 21, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Mechanic Falls on January 25, 1947, a daughter of Erlon and Theva Fickett Pike and graduated from Oxford High School. Sharon worked 19 years at Robinson Manufacturing in Oxford and 21 years at Market Square Health Care Center in South Paris. She loved her family, her cat and cooking. Sharon was a member of the Maine Harness Racing Association, and she enjoyed going to Scarborough Downs and collecting stuffed horses. On November 18, 1967, she married Karl Seamon. Karl died September 21, 2001.
She is survived by her daughter, Marcy Wright and her husband, Michael, of Oxford; her son, Kurt and his significant other, Tina, of Oxford; her mother, Theva Stevens; stepmother, Nellie Pike; two grandsons, Michael and Isaiah Wright of Oxford; her brothers and sisters, Donnie Pike, Alvin Pike, Trudy Newton, Laurie Pike, Julie Bickford, Naida Jean Stevens, Lynn Stevens, Bonnie Stevens, Reed Stevens and Lisa Stevens; and an aunt, an uncle and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her dad; sisters, Faith Roberts and Robin Stevens; brothers, Randy and Keith Pike, and Lenny Jay Stevens.
