“Music for Mavis” Tuesdays at the Gazebo will host The Backwoods Road Band today, July 25 at 6:30 p.m., 98 Mathews Way, Rt 117, Turner Center. The country blue grass band, led by Jane and Dick Bernier, will get toes tapping and spirits lifting with upbeat tunes and talented musicianship. The hat is passed to pay the musicians;the suggested donation is $5. Bring a chair or a blanket. In the event of rain, the concert will be moved to the library nearby. FMI call 754-0954.
