Golden Age Club to meet

LEWISTON — The Golden Age Club will meet Tuesday, Aug. 8, at The Chick-A-Dee on Lisbon Road.

Gathering time will be from 11:30 a.m. to noon, and lunch will be from noon to 2 p.m.

Members will pay with separate checks. 

Reservations are required by Sunday, Aug. 6. 

New members and guests are welcome.

History Barn open house

NEW GLOUCESTER — The next monthly New Gloucester History Barn open house will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 5, at 383 Intervale Road, Route 231, behind the New Gloucester Town Hall.

The “Bell Tavern” exhibit will continue along with several permanent exhibits.

The open house is free and open to the public.
