POLAND — Allison Emery of Mechanic Falls, a senior at Poland Regional High School, has been selected to receive the 2017 Principal’s Award, Principal Cari Medd has announced.
The award, sponsored by the Maine Principals’ Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship.
“Allison’s academic excellence and outstanding service to her community and her school make her an impressive representative of her school. Allison is well-respected by her peers and her teachers and serves as a model for positive engagement as a student and a citizen,” said Medd.
The Principal’s Award is presented in more than 100 Maine public and private high schools by member principals of the MPA.
