LEWISTON — Henry G. Levesque, 85, of Greene passed away Tuesday, July 25, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston.

He was born in Lewiston on Nov. 15, 1931, a son of the late David and Irene (Forgues) Levesque. He lived his entire life in the Androscoggin area attending local schools including St. Dom’s. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and received his honorable discharge afterward. He was married to Gloria Goulette for 63 years before she passed away last year. Together they worked raising their young family of three boys. He worked at Lewiston Radiator for several years before going to work at Bath Iron Works as a pipefitter for more than 15 years. Henry was a past member of Sacred Heart Church in Auburn. He enjoyed working around his house in Greene, which he built himself, mowing his lawn and gardening.

Henry is survived by his three sons, Steve Levesque and wife, Lisa, of Farmingdale, Glenn Levesque of Sabattus, Jeff Levesque of Greene; seven grandchildren, Sarah, Kelly, Amanda, Kimberly, Kevin, Jake and Tyler; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Yolande Obrien of Florida.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Gloria; and seven brothers and sisters.
