ESMERALDA COUNTY, Nev. — Scott D. Whitney, 43, of Kingman, Ariz., died tragically in an 18-wheeler accident in Nevada on July 20.
He was employed by CTI Trucking.
He was born in Lewiston on Nov. 27, 1973, to Claire Whitney of Lewiston and Dale Whitney of Buckfield. He was educated in Lewiston, where he met his wife, Alice (Martin) Whitney. Together they have three children.
He enjoyed cooking, hunting, mudding and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Alice; daughter, Breanna; sons, Devin and Jacob; mother, Claire Whitney of Lewiston; sister, Tina (Whitney) Landry and her husband, Gary, of Lewiston; brother, Tim Whitney of Lewiston; and close friend, Jay Nadeau.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Carmen (Philippon) Cyr; Henry Cyr; and son, Joshua.
