LEWISTON — Mildred Parkin of Wales passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 30. She was born on Sept. 23, 1929, to Henry and Mildred Jewell in Stamford, Conn. She married Charles Parkin on Dec. 3, 1947.

She is survived by Robin (Bill) Corson, Charles (Tammy) Parkin, Wayne (Leiarna) Parkin, Nick Higgins; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Janet Pastore.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Melanie; grandson, Chuckie; and great-grandson, Camden.
