AUBURN — Irene Michaud, daughter of Edmund and Margaret Theriault Michaud, died Wednesday, Aug. 2, at Clover Manor in Auburn.
She was born on Aug. 8, 1939, in Old Town. Irene was always happy and laughing and joining groups that were having a good time. She loved to play bingo and go to the casinos. Irene loved the times she went to Las Vegas.
She worked in the shoe shops and Arrowhead in Brunswick, from which she retired. Irene, along with her two brothers and a sister, played and sang western music with their own instruments.
She was predeceased by her parents, sisters, Pauline Madore and Cecile Whitcomb; and brothers, Aurelle, Normand and O’Neil Michaud.
Survivors include a brother, Chester Michaud and a sister, Edna Cobb; a special niece, Gloria Bakeman; and best friend, Ruthann Belanger.
