AUBURN — A light pole came crashing down and four vehicles were damaged Wednesday afternoon after a wreck on Court Street, near the entrance to Great Falls Plaza.
Police said Richard Saucier, 31, of Lewiston was driving a Ford F-150 on Court Street, heading into Auburn, when he lost control of his truck and struck two vehicles: a Kia Soul driven by Linda Hayes, 67, of Auburn, and a Nissan Maxima driven by Desera Debrienza, 20, of Lewiston.
Saucier’s truck then slammed into a utility pole, police said, causing debris to rain down on a Jeep Liberty driven by Richard Waller, 60, of Auburn. The crash was being investigated by Auburn police officer Travis Barnies. His findings will be forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office, police said.
