RUMFORD — Brent Bachelder, owner of Club Neopolsi Creations, is hosting a grand opening of his 725 Prospect Ave. business from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
The event is open to the public, and children are welcome. Attendees will be able to take a tour of the studio and gardens, learn about custom artwork, art classes and what the future holds for the development of the Western Maine Art Center.
Bachelder will also have music and art activities, as well as door prizes. Those attending may enter to win an art class for eight. No purchase is necessary.
Light refreshments will be served.
Bachelder, a graduate of Gould Academy in Bethel, is moving his business to Rumford after being in Rhode Island for 28 years.
His work includes large- or small-scale murals, hand-painted or hand-carved signs, creative illustrations, websites and graphic design, affordable interior and exterior makeovers, custom-designed art curriculum and community art projects.
