CASCO — Shirley Ann Ordway, 79, died Friday, Aug. 18.

She was born on June 1, 1938, in Auburn, the daughter of C. Raymond and Nellie Rowe Segars. Shirley attended Gray and New Gloucester primary schools and graduated from Pennell Institute in 1956. Shirley worked for Pine Tree Telephone and Telegraph as a receptionist. She was very active in Eastern Star and Fidelity Rebekah Lodge. Shirley enjoyed knitting, gardening and mostly just being with family and traveling on Maine Line Tours.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Noel; three daughters, Debra and husband, David Kramlich, Holly and husband, Bill Chandler, Gail and husband, Jason White; one son, Richard Ordway and wife, Wendy; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
