BRIDGTON — Bridgton Hospital will be hosting a community celebration in honor of the hospital’s centennial. The event will take place at 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25, on the Bridgton Hospital campus.
The event will feature a DJ, refreshments and end with fireworks at 9 p.m. Lakes Region residents and visitors are invited to enjoy this free centennial celebration and take a look at the newly dedicated Memory Garden featuring a time capsule to be opened in 2117.
Bridgton Hospital has been the Lakes Region’s community hospital since 1917 at the bequest of Bridgton resident Clara Fogg.
