On Friday, Aug. 25, Continental Shakedown and guests Big G & Rhino will perform at the Crooked Hook in Mechanic Falls starting at 7:30 p.m., no cover. On Saturday, Aug. 26, Continental and hip-hop artist Spose will be featured at the Acts of Kindness Concert at the Oxford Fairgrounds. The concert runs from 1 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $10. The concert also features The Wayback Machine, Dean Richardson, Big G & Rhino, Craig Rivas, Motion, Phil Fortier, the The Fedoras. Continental Shakedown will perform just before Spose, who goes on at 9 p.m. All proceeds will benefit Special Olympics.
