LEWISTON — The Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce will host a power lunch seminar, Understanding Foreign Trade Zones, from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, in the chamber’s conference room at 415 Lisbon St.

This seminar is presented in partnership with the Lewiston-Auburn Economic Growth Council and is geared to businesses that import any materials and/or components used to manufacture items or that export manufactured goods containing imported materials and/or components.

The seminar is being presented by Michael Doyon, a licensed U.S. Customs broker who is committed to the success of Maine’s global trade. The focus of his global consulting firm, MDC, is to assist Maine companies to study the feasibility, initiate the path and navigate the challenges of global trade.

The seminar is free, but those interested in attending must register. Lunch will be provided.
