New Bates College students went on Downtown Walkabouts on Labor Day as part of New Student Orientation. The walks were led by upperclass students who are involved in the off-campus community. The walks are designed to welcome new students to Lewiston/Auburn and encourage them to get involved in positive ways in the off-campus community. They are pictured crossing Ash Street, walking Lisbon Street.
