AUBURN — Patricia Larose of Auburn celebrated her 100th birthday Sunday, Sept. 17, surrounded by family and friends, including family from Canada. Her birthday was Sept. 18.

Larose has seven children, 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Asked the secret to her longevity, she said, “I get up in the morning with a smile on my face.”

Her biggest wish was for a beautiful sunny day and her prayers were answered.
