LEWISTON — The Maine Table Tennis League will host the table tennis event for the Maine Senior Games for the first time. It will be held Saturday, Oct. 14 at the Lewiston Armory 65 Central Avenue. Doors open at 9 a.m. and the event starts at 10 a.m. The event coordinator is Irena Stepan and Rick Shea is the tournament referee.

Events include men’s and women’s singles, doubles and mixed doubles. Events are round robin (best three out of five) Games are to 11 and must win by two. Athletes must provide own paddle (red on one side, black on the other). Game balls will be provided.

The mission of the Maine Senior Games is to provide athletic events and wellness opportunities to improve the health and fitness of people 45 and over.
